Shaw Trust Care, Construction and Business Academies

The Care and Construction and Business Academies are available to people interested in a career in Health and Social Care, Construction and Business. Through the Academy you can receive career planning and guidance support, Health and Social Care, Construction or Business specific training, opportunities to gain work experience, on the job training and wellbeing support to help you overcome any barriers that prevent you from training and/or gaining employment.

To be able to access this service, you must be:

· Unemployed with an interest in working in the Health and Social Care, Construction or Business sector.

· Not in full or part time education, employment or training

· A legal resident of the UK

· Aged 16 years +

Are currently working in the Health and Social Care, Construction or Business sector but:

· Have had your salary / hours / role impacted as a result of Covid 19

· Are at risk of redundancy as a result of Covid 19
